Birmingham wheelie bins roadshow under way

Help

A month-long roadshow has started in Birmingham as the council prepares to introduce wheelie bins to some areas of the city.

The city was awarded £30m by the government in November to preserve weekly waste collections.

Birmingham City Council said wheelie bins would help modernise the service and make it more affordable in the long term.

But some people said they did not want them. BBC Midlands Today's Sarah Falkland reports.
