PC Anthony Fellows 'sent obscene photo to teenager'

A police officer has appeared in court accused of sending an obscene picture to a 15-year-old girl from his mobile phone.

Anthony Fellows, 26, from Sanderling Close, in Featherstone, Staffordshire has served as a constable with West Midlands Police for about four years.

He pleaded not guilty to attempting to cause a child aged between 13 and 15 to look at a naked image of him.

He will reappear at Birmingham Crown Court on 14 June.

The prosecution alleges Mr Fellows sent the image by mobile phone, between 19 October 2012 and 11 November 2012, intentionally causing the girl to look at an image for the purpose of sexual gratification.

He is currently suspended from duty by West Midlands Police, the force said.
