Anthony Brown Erdington: Second murder suspect in court

A second man has been charged with murdering a man who was found dead at a shared house in Birmingham.

Anthony Paul Brown, 45, was found dead in Kingsbury Road, Erdington, on 14 December. A post-mortem examination failed to determine a cause of death and further tests are under way.

Michael Herrington, 22, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Friday after attending a Birmingham police station.

He was charged with murder at the city's magistrates' court on Sunday.

Mr Herrington was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on Tuesday.

Joseph Silver Snape, 27, of Kingsbury Road, was charged with murdering Mr Brown in December and remanded into custody.
