Missing Darlaston children found 'safe and well'

Two children who went missing from their home have been found safe and well, police have said.

Sophie Fletcher, 12, and Jack Fletcher, 10, left their house in Moxley Road, Darlaston, West Midlands, either overnight or in the morning.

West Midlands Police said the children were found at Darlaston bus station at 17:20 GMT by a family friend who saw them and alerted the police.

They are currently being reunited with their family, a spokesperson said.

The brother and sister were reported missing at around 08:30 GMT by their mother, police said.

West Midlands Police said officers had mounted an "extensive search of the local area" and had used Twitter to enlist the public's help.
