Second man charged over Broad Street head stamp attack

A 22-year-old man has been charged with attacking an 18-year-old man who was punched unconscious and had his head stamped on during a night out.

The accused, from Hockley, faces two charges of assault over the attack in Birmingham's Broad Street in September.

The man, the second to be charged over the incident, had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham magistrates on Friday.
