Toddler Daniel Jones in heroin overdose death: Murder arrests made

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a toddler who died from a heroin overdose at a house in the West Midlands.

Daniel Jones, aged 23 months, died in a property in the Penn area of Wolverhampton in May.

Forensic tests showed Daniel's death - initially unexplained - was caused by a heroin overdose, police said.

A 29-year-old man and 33-year-old woman are currently being questioned by the West Midlands force.
