A man whose body was discovered in a lake in the Black Country had had his throat cut, police said.

A murder inquiry started after 41-year-old Jasbir Singh Bains's body was found in a lake in Dartmouth Park, Sandwell, last Wednesday.

Police said he had last been seen in the West Bromwich area and appealed for anyone who had seen him in the hours before his death to get in touch.

His family have also appealed for information.
