Help

Premier Foods, the maker of Hovis, is cutting 511 jobs in Birmingham where it is closing a bakery.

Myrza Saleem, 44, who has worked at the bakery for 13 years, said he had no idea it was going to close and was "devastated" by the news.

Meanwhile, David Seeckts from Premier Foods said the loss of a major contract was a key factor in the decision.
