Woman falls from coach on M42 motorway

A woman has fallen from a coach on the M42 in the West Midlands, leaving her with a serious head injury.

The vehicle was travelling near junction 6 - the turnoff for the NEC and Birmingham Airport - shortly after 11:00 GMT on Sunday.

The victim, believed to be aged in her 20s, reportedly fell from an emergency exit of the coach.

She was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
