Walsall flats deaths: Man in court charged with murder
The bodies were found at flats in Acacia Avenue on the Yew Tree Estate on Saturday
A man has appeared in court charged with two counts of murder after a man and a woman were found dead at a block of flats in Walsall.
Ian Woolley, 43, of Holly Court on the Yew Tree Estate appeared before Sandwell Magistrates on Tuesday and was remanded in custody.
The body of Pauline Gillen, 69, was found inside a flat in Acacia Avenue.
The body of the man, who is still yet to be identified, was found behind the building.
Police said both had died from multiple stab wounds.
Woolley is next due before Wolverhampton Crown Court on 11 October.
