Walsall flats deaths: Man charged with two murders

A 43-year-old man has been charged with two counts of murder after a man and a woman were found dead at a block of flats in Walsall on Saturday.

The body of Pauline Gillen, 69, was found inside a flat in Acacia Avenue.

The body of the man, who is still yet to be identified, was found behind the building. They had both died from multiple stab wounds.

The man, who was arrested on Saturday, will appear at Sandwell Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
