Walsall flat deaths: Man held after two bodies found

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a block of flats in the West Midlands.

A woman, aged 69, was found inside a flat in Acacia Avenue in Walsall. Another body, believed to be a man in his 30s, was found behind the building.

Police were called in the early hours and arrested a 43-year-old man at the scene.

Officers are not seeking anyone else over the deaths and police forensics teams are at the scene.

Det Insp Warren Hines, from West Midlands Police, said: "We believe all the parties involved were known to each other."
