A busy road in Birmingham remains shut in one direction after being closed for two days because of a burst pipe.

Bristol Road, in Selly Oak, was closed completely on Wednesday after flooding outside the Soak pub.

One lane of the road towards the city centre reopened on Thursday afternoon. Severn Trent Water said it was likely to remain that way over the weekend.

Bus services had been affected and motorists were unable to use the main car park at Selly Oak railway station.
