Man, 40, arrested after man shot at a house in Moseley

A 40-year-old man has been arrested after a man was shot in the stomach at a house in Birmingham.

Inquiries suggested the shot was fired from a black Audi passing the house in Wake Green Road, Moseley, at about 11:30 BST on Thursday, police said.

The 30-year-old from Stechford did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

"Early enquiries suggest this was not a random shooting and we are trying to establish the circumstances that led up to this," a police spokesman said.
