Men in court on murder charges after Dudley man found

Two men have appeared in court charged with murdering a man who was found with head injuries in an alleyway.

Shane Watson, 23, from Sedgley, died in hospital from his injuries after being attacked on Saturday.

The attack happened off Springfield Grove, in Sedgley, police said.

James Robert Cartwright, 18, from Sandyfields Road and Shylon Mark Wishart, 19, from Northspring Field were remanded in custody at Dudley Magistrate's Court.

Mr Cartwright and Mr Wishart, both from Sedgley, are due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 22 Oct.
