A fire that gutted a six-storey former leather factory in the West Midlands is being treated as arson, police say.

More than 80 firefighters were called to the blaze that broke out at the old Boak building in Walsall on Station Street on Monday night.

Some roads in the area remain closed off while the structure is made safe.

West Midlands Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious from around 21:00 BST on Monday to come forward.

A spokesperson from Walsall Council said Navigation Street, Station Street and a section of Bridgeman Street would remain closed until early next week.
