A man suspected of killing a father-of-three in a West Midlands nightclub has been charged with murder after being extradited to the UK from Jamaica.

Danny "Dannyman" McCalla, from Dudley, was shot at Tropical Harmony nightclub in Bilston in November 2009.

Police said after arriving at Gatwick Airport on Tuesday, Tony Ashman, 38, from Jamaica, was taken to a West Midlands police station and charged.

He is due before magistrates in Wolverhampton on Wednesday.

Three other men arrested in 2009 in connection with the 50-year-old's death were later released without charge, a spokesman added.
