Cradley Heath site identified for proposed fire station

A site has been identified for a proposed fire station in the West Midlands.

The station has been planned for Halesowen Road in Cradley Heath and would serve the town and Halesowen.

Planning permission would be submitted as soon as possible, the fire service said.

The site identified, next to Haden Hill leisure centre, was one of four considered by the authority and will also include community facilities.
