Carver's builders merchants '116-year history' burns

A large fire is burning at a builders merchants in Wolverhampton.

The fire Carvers builders merchant in Littles Lane started at about 11:40 GMT.

Company owner Henry Carver said he was devastated. "It is just the speed with which it has destroyed 115... years of trading," he said.

Lee Carlton Perkins captured images on his phone of the billowing smoke which could be seen from across the city.
