Family tribute to killed Newbury woman Sandra Talman

The family of a woman found dead in her home has paid tribute to her.

The body of Sandra Talman, 62, was discovered at a housing complex for over-55s in Carnarvon Close, Newbury, Berkshire, on 17 August.

A post-mortem examination showed she died of compression to the neck. Her husband Nigel, 60, has been charged with murder.

Mrs Talman's family described her as "a loving and kind daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother".

In a statement, the family said: "Sandra's sons Stephen, Nicky and Sam are devastated at the tragic loss of their mother.

"Sandra was always happy and joyful. The loss of Sandra has left a massive hole in all of our hearts."

Mr Talman appeared at Reading Crown Court on Thursday and was remanded for a plea and case management hearing on 7 November.
