Three arrested in Syria terrorism probe

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of Syria-related terror offences.

A 26-year-old man from Slough, Berkshire, and a 27-year-old man from Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, are suspected of preparing terrorist acts.

The pair were arrested on Tuesday have been bailed until August.

Another 26-year-old man from Slough, who is suspected of financing terrorist acts, was arrested on Tuesday and also bailed until August.

Ch Insp Gavin Wong, of Thames Valley Police, said: "These arrests demonstrate that positive action is being taken to safeguard members of the community from the dangers of travelling to Syria."
