The family of a motorist who died in a crash in Slough have said they "do not know what we will do without him".

Bernard Gage, 59, was killed in a collision with a motorcycle on the A412 Uxbridge Road, near the junction of Wexham Park Lane, on Sunday.

The 41-year-old motorcyclist, Richard Sinclair, also died at the scene.

Mr Gage, known as Gage or Bernie, was "the most loving, caring and kind-hearted person", his family said in a statement released by police.

"We will remember you in everything we do and promise to keep you at the forefront of our hearts. We are devastated and heartbroken that your life was taken so suddenly. We miss you," the statement said.

Mr Gage leaves behind a wife, Liz, two children, Michelle and Chris, and two grandchildren, seven-month-old Olivia and Kaylem, 17.

Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses.
