Man charged after boy, 16, stabbed in Burghfield Common

A 21-year-old man has been charged after a teenager was stabbed in Burghfield Common in Berkshire.

The 16-year-old boy was found at Saxby Close just after midnight on Sunday. He has since been released from hospital.

A local man was arrested and charged with wounding with intent. Another man, 20, from Theale, was bailed on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police said officers had been called to reports of trouble involving a small group of people.
