Murder arrest over Ascot pensioner's death

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 73-year-old man in Berkshire.

Detectives said an investigation was launched on Thursday into the man's death in Ascot, following a report made to police.

Thames Valley Police said the man died at a property in Burleigh Road on Saturday 22 March.

The woman, aged 63 and from Bracknell, was released on bail until 16 June after being arrested on Friday.

Police said the man's next of kin had been informed.
