Reading rape suspect e-fit released

E-fit of rape suspect The suspect was balding and wore a hat

An e-fit image has been released of a man who raped a woman in Reading nearly four years ago.

Thames Valley Police said the victim, who was in her early 40s at the time, was befriended by the man, whom she met through a third party.

The rape took place in Mount Pleasant in August 2010, police said, but was not reported until May last year.

The man, who is thought to have used a false name, is said to be Asian, in his 30s and about 6ft 2in tall.

He had a bald patch on the crown of his head and wore a hat, police said.
