Bracknell terraced house damaged in major fire

A fire which damaged most of a terraced house and a neighbouring property took more than two hours to bring under control, firefighters say.

Six appliances were called to a house in Bracknell just after 07:00 BST.

Most of the roof and more than half of the first floor of the property in Vandyke, Great Hollands was damaged in the blaze.

Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was empty when the fire began. Investigations are under way.
