Windsor stab death: Murder investigation launched

A murder investigation has begun after a man was stabbed following an attack in Windsor town centre.

The 24-year-old died in hospital from injuries sustained in an altercation with a group of men in Barry Avenue just after 03:00 BST.

Five men have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Police say their investigation is in its early stages.

Roads around Windsor town centre have been closed off while inquiries continue.

A 27-year-old man from Harrow, a 26-year-old man from London, a 21-year-old man from Leighton Buzzard, and two men from Luton, aged 21 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
