Man 'dragged' from car and beaten in Slough attack

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was dragged from a car and attacked by a group of 12 men.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack in Slough, Berkshire around 03:00 BST on Saturday.

The 36-year-old man had been with friends in a car before the group, who were mostly black and wearing dark hooded tops, attacked in Brammas Close.

Police say the group drove off from the scene in a silver Ford Mondeo and possibly a Ford Fiesta.

Det Insp Anthony Padfield from Thames Valley Police said: "We have yet to establish if the groups of men were known to each other.

"Investigations at the scene have been completed, but our officers are in the neighbourhood speaking to local residents and offering reassurance."

The victim was taken to nearby Wexham Park Hospital before being transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where his condition is described as serious but stable.
