Investigations and clean-up continue after Windsor fire
Investigations are continuing into the cause of a major fire in Berkshire.
Police said they were keeping an open mind about the blaze in Windsor on Tuesday night during which a building partially collapsed.
More than 80 firefighters were at the scene of the blaze which started at about 22:00 BST.
Park Street remains closed while investigations into the cause and work to make the remaining structure safe continue.
Police and the fire service have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
The terraced property, opposite the Two Brewers pub on Park Street, was undergoing renovation work.
The upper floors of the building partially collapsed during the fire, along with the surrounding scaffolding.
Worked started to remove scaffolding as well as three chimneys and an unstable gable wall on Thursday morning.
A spokeswoman for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead said work was being hampered by high winds.
About 12 people were forced to move to temporary accommodation for the night owing to the fire's close proximity to residential properties.
Crews came from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Oxfordshire and Surrey to fight the fire, while police were required to manage crowds of onlookers.
