Samuel Darling jailed over Winnersh crash deaths

Samuel Darling Darling was sentenced to seven years for each count to run concurrently

A man who killed two people when his van hit a car at a crossroads in Berkshire has been jailed.

Jack Allison, 18, and passenger Stuart Craig, 19, were killed when Samuel Darling's Transit van hit a VW Golf at Winnersh on 14 March last year.

Darling, of Sirius Close, Wokingham, was found guilty of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday.

He was given seven years for each count to run concurrently.

Darling was also disqualified from driving for six years.
