Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading hit by norovirus

Visitors are being asked to stay away from a Berkshire hospital due to a norovirus outbreak.

Cases of the vomiting and diarrhoea bug have been identified on four wards at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.

Jenny Wyeth, lead nurse for infection prevention, urged people to "consider when you need to visit".

The hospital imposed similar restrictions due to norovirus in early January and again a month later.
