Grieving relatives have paid tribute to a "generous, intelligent and beautiful" woman who died in a fall at Reading Football Club's hotel.

Danielle Cooke, 22, from Bracknell, was at a Christmas party at the Millennium Madejski Hotel when she was found dead at the bottom of a stairwell.

Police are treating her death in the early hours of 22 December as unexplained.

In a statement, the family said they were in "shock at her untimely death".

They added: "Danni was a generous, intelligent and beautiful young woman."

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Cooke died from head injuries consistent with a fall from a height.
