Sir Steve Redgrave has unveiled a gold-painted pedestal on the River Thames in honour of the medal winners of London 2012.

The five-time Olympic gold medallist also unveiled a commemorative plaque at Bray Lock, near Eton Dorney, on the Berkshire-Buckinghamshire border.

The lake hosted the rowing events during the Games.

The pedestal houses the controls for operating the lock gates at Bray.

Matt Carter, from the Environment Agency, called it a "fitting tribute".
