M4 reopens between Chieveley and Hungerford after lorry sheds load

The M4 motorway in Berkshire has reopened after a lorry crashed spilling its load of rubble and concrete.

The driver and passenger have been taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The lorry ended up on its side on the westbound carriageway after crashing at about 10:30 BST.

Two lanes westbound on the M4 between junction 13 for Chieveley and junction 14 for Hungerford were shut but have now reopened.

One of the eastbound lanes, which was also closed, has reopened.

The lorry was recovered before work was carried out to remove debris.
