A Berkshire arts centre which sustained Arts Council England (ACE) cuts has now been awarded a grant by the body to improve facilities.

Norden Farm in Maidenhead lost £143,000 annual core funding but has won £82,000 "Grants for the Arts" funding from ACE.

The centre said it would help the "difficult transition" after the cuts.

It intends to spend the money on new digital projection equipment and marketing for the theatre, film and music venue.
