Parking charges in Reading have been increased in six town centre car parks.

Tariffs at Broad Street Mall, Civic Offices B, Queen's Road, Kings Meadow, Hills Meadow and Cattle Market were increased from 6 August.

The increases were agreed by Reading Borough Council in June as part of a "regular review" by the authority and car park operator NCP.

Various charges will rise by between 10p and £1, but some rates will remain frozen.
