Man dies when hit by car in road near Kintbury

A man was killed in Berkshire when he was hit by a car after getting out of the vehicle he had been travelling in following an argument.

Police said the 28-year-old, from Kent, was hit by a BMW in the early hours as it travelled on the A4 Bath Road, near Kintbury, towards Newbury.

The man, who was a passenger in a black Ford Focus, left the car after a disagreement with the other occupants.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash.
