Four arrests made in drugs raids in Reading
Four arrests have been made during an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Reading.
Police with warrants raided eight properties at 09.40 BST.
Two men aged 33 and 42 were arrested on suspicion of money laundering. The 33-year-old, of Lyndhurst Road, was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
A woman aged 52 and a man aged 24, of Hatford Road, were held on suspicion of intending to supply cannabis.
Det Insp Nick Watts, who is leading the operation, said: "These warrants are part of an investigation into an organised crime group operating in the Reading area.
"Searches are continuing at the properties in question at this time."
