Tuanjai Sprengel Bracknell murder accused in court

A 28-year-old man charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found in an underpass in Bracknell has appeared in court.

Muhammad Shafi, from Basemoors in Bracknell, appeared before Reading Crown Court on Thursday, accused of the murder of Tuanjai Sprengel, 43.

Ms Sprengel's body was discovered on Sunday by two gardeners at an underpass near Bay Drive in Bullbrook, Bracknell.

Mr Shafi will reappear before the court for a plea hearing on 22 August.
