Man arrested over Bracknell underpass woman's murder

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman was found in an underpass in Berkshire.

The woman, who was 43 and from the Bracknell area, was found in Bay Drive, Bullbrook, Bracknell, at 08:00 BST.

Paramedics were called but she was declared dead at the scene.

Supt Paul Hayles, of Thames Valley Police, said the "nature and severity" of her injuries had led police to launch a murder inquiry.

He added: "We would urge anyone who was in or around the area in the early hours of this morning and may have seen anything is asked to please contact us as a matter of urgency."
