The family of a missing man whose body was found in a Berkshire river have thanked the "hundreds of people" who helped in the search for him.

Jordan Bartlett, 19, of Biddles Close, Cippenham, was found in the Jubilee River near Slough on Thursday.

The statement from his family read: "The support we have received has been overwhelming. Thank you everyone for all the love you have shown us."

Police are still treating the death as unexplained.

Mr Bartlett was reported missing on 4 May.

A passer-by found his body close to the Windsor Relief Road on 17 May.

The discovery came two days after the body of Gurdip Kang, 49, also from Slough, was found in the same river between Datchet and Eton.

Thames Valley Police said the discoveries were not linked.
