Newbury stab death: Three men charged with murder

Three men have been charged with murdering a 38-year-old who died from stab wounds in Berkshire.

The victim was found by police at a property in Queens Road, Newbury, on 16 March.

Joshua Anderson, 22, and Matthew Anderson, 20, both of no fixed address, and Dean Robinson, 32, from Thatcham, are charged with murder.

They have also been charged with the attempted murder of a man found injured in Boundary Road, Newbury.

The 33-year-old, who is currently in hospital in a serious but stable condition, was attacked about half an hour before the other victim was found.

All three accused are due to appear before Reading Magistrates' Court.

Joshua Anderson and Matthew Anderson have also been charged with actual bodily harm in connection with an assault on a 43-year-old man near The Plough pub in Greenham Road, Newbury, on the same evening as the two stabbings.

They have also been charged with actual bodily harm in connection with an assault on two men, aged 21 and 22, in Thatcham town centre at about 01:00 GMT on 17 March.

A 32-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail until 6 June.
