Windsor Half Marathon sees 6,000 runners

About 6,000 runners have been taking part in the 12th Windsor Half Marathon.

The 13.1-mile (21.1km) race takes runners around Windsor Great Park and along the Long Walk towards the Queen's Berkshire residence, Windsor castle.

Warm sunny weather saw temperatures reaching 20C (68F) but prior to the race organisers said there would be drinks along the route.

The event supports the Prince Philip Trust and the building industry chairity Crash, for the homeless.
