Two people killed in Buckinghamshire M40 crash

Two people have been killed in a crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire, police said.

Two cars collided on the westbound carriageway between junction 2 for Beaconsfield and junction 3 for Loudwater just after 05:00 BST.

The victims, who were travelling in the same vehicle, were declared dead at the scene.

Thames Valley Police said six other people had been taken to hospital.

The road was closed for about six hours.
