Two people have been charged with murdering a man found seriously hurt in a Luton car park.

Zbignew Pawelec, 50, died from head injuries in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on 17 June, three days after he was found on George Street West.

Carl Stockwell, 25, of Dallow Road, Luton, and Daniel McRedmond, 19, of Shirley Road, Luton, will appear in front of town magistrates on Thursday.

Another man has been released on bail.

Mr Pawelec was from Poland and had lived in Luton since 2008.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the victim in the town on 13 and 14 June or who spotted anything suspicious in the street on the day he was found.
