A robber filmed on CCTV being attacked by a woman as he stole from her shop has been jailed.
Rasika Yakanwala, 27, said she feared for her life but grappled with Manny Buckland at the Gulf garage in Clifton, Bedfordshire.
At Luton Crown Court, Buckland, 39, admitted robbery and burglary and was given a three-year jail term.
Accomplice Stuart Battams, 41, admitted two burglary charges and was jailed for two years.
The court was played footage from 27 May, which showed Mrs Yakanwala grabbing Buckland's hair as he tried to reach over the counter and grab money from the till.
He then toppled over the counter and landed on top of her.
Mrs Yakanwala, who owns the garage with her husband, grabbed the banknotes to stop Buckland getting them.
But they scattered on the floor and he managed to scoop up between £500 and £600.
Prosecutor David Stanton said Battams left his lookout position, came into the shop and stole six bottles of alcohol while his friend and Mrs Yakanwala were on the floor.
The men, who had been driven to the village, first raided a convenience store with a post office counter.
Buckland tried to steal cash from a till but was pushed away by an assistant.
Buckland had been on a community order imposed just six days before the offences, while Battams had only recently got out of prison after being jailed for charity box thefts.
The court heard they both had problems with cocaine and alcohol and had been before the courts many times.
