Ex-Thames Valley policeman faces misconduct charges

A former Milton Keynes police constable has been charged with misconduct in public office, the force said.

Martin McElvenna, 54, served with Thames Valley Police until last week.

The two charges he faces relate to the alleged inappropriate use of the Police National Computer (PNC) for non-policing purposes.

He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 18 November.
