Halloween: 'Scary' display has to be toned down

18 October 2013 Last updated at 17:49 BST

A man has been told by police to tone down the Halloween display on his house because it is too scary.

James Creighton said a parent complained to Bedfordshire Police when their child cried on seeing the decorations but no-one had complained to him.

The gruesome decorations on his house in Stevenage have so far raised £1,800 for charity.
