Mother's heartbreak as burglars steal toddler's ashes

6 September 2013 Last updated at 14:23 BST

A mother says burglars who stole a silver pendant containing her son's ashes have left her broken-hearted.

Kelly Caird's two-year-old son, Daniel, died four years ago from a brain haemorrhage after a fall.

The burglars ransacked her home in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. One of the items taken was a silver teardrop pendant containing what she said was her "last connection to her son".
