Two people have been arrested in connection with a "targeted" attack on a house in Luton, police said.

Shots were fired at a house in Devon Road at about 21:00 BST on Wednesday.

Police raided properties in Briar Close, The Drummonds, Tower Court and The Magpies on Friday morning.

Two males, aged 17 and 21, were detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, conspiracy to cause criminal damage and affray.

Bedfordshire Police said two men rode off on a motorbike towards Crawley Green Road after Wednesday's attack.

Officers, who believe "specific people living at the location" were targeted, said the arrests were a result of information received from the public.

Det Insp Iain Morgan, said: "I continue to appeal to anyone who has information about the offence or from anyone who was in or near the area at the time and recalls hearing or seeing a motorcycle or the offenders."

Police are not connecting the shooting to a recent spate of gun crime in the town.
